Located in the arts district in Dallas, it is one of the largest art museums in the Nation. Whether you’re single, going out for date night, or looking for some family fun, DMA is a fun and free activity to do while in Dallas.
The permanent collections that are always on display at the museum are jaw-dropping, and the best part is that it’s always free! But the museum also hosts different special events and nights for a slight fee. You can also get a discount on these nights if your a student, military, or a member of the museum.
The museum has 4 floors, and something to do for everyone. They boast family programs, community programs, teen programs, concerts, performances, and school programs! Best of all is there special events. On the third friday of each month they host Late Nights, which was voted best date night by the Dalllas Observer. Or, there is also second Thursday With A Twist, where the museum gets a pop culture overhaul.
If that all wasn’t enough to get excited about, the museum also has spectacular exhibits that tour through, and they are well presented, very informative, and overall a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist you in having an amazing time during your visit.
